“It is a film of such a large scale, hence the makers did not want to release the film on OTT. It was supposed to release in November this year. Then we thought of December release. But, later due to the ongoing Corona crisis, it was decided that ‘Maidan’ would be released next year to celebrate Independence Day.
4-5 per cent shooting is yet to be done. Even I have 3-4 days of shooting left which was to be completed in April. But that did not happen,” said the veteran actor during an exclusive chat with ETimes.
